The day-to-day role of a Graduate Consultant will largely involve:

  • Collaborate effectively within project teams of 2-5, working constructively with multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery from inception to completion
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of large data sets, employing both numerical and qualitative reasoning to draw meaningful conclusions and form structured arguments
  • Support project management activities, with oversight from senior team members, demonstrating ownership and accountability for work delivered
  • Engage directly with clients, developing strong relationships, building rapport with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds, and supporting them throughout project delivery
  • Support on the production of and own aspects of key deliverables, including but not limited to strategy reports, business cases, procurement exercises, and operations reviews
  • Contribute to solutions design by providing ideas, feedback, and constructive input on project outputs, enhancing the quality and coherence of deliverables.
  • Contribute to internal business development initiatives to support the growth of the organisation

Over the course of the year, you’ll develop your core consulting competencies through a combination of structured training, real project work, and contribution to internal initiatives. You’ll be supported throughout by experienced colleagues who are committed to your development and growth.

About You

Knowledge and Skills

The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge and skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Numerical reasoning and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret and work with data
  • Qualitative reasoning and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyse complex information and form structured arguments
  • Able to synthesise data and draw meaningful conclusions
  • Understands how to assess risk and when to escalate issues appropriately

 

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Graduated within last 2 years (Summer 2023 or later) or on track to graduate by role start date
  • Minimum 2:1 University Degree (BSc or above)

 

Additional Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK & Ireland (no visa sponsorship available)
  • Prepared to travel as required to London and Leeds offices and to client sites across the UK & Ireland

  1. Online Application:

  1. First Round Interview:

After the screening stage, successful candidates will be invited for a virtual interview (via Microsoft Teams) to understand a bit more about your background, experience and motivations for joining our team.

Interviews will be held w/c 16th June 2025

  1. Group Assessment Centre Day:

We will then invite you to our in-office Assessment Centre Day (either Leeds or London) which will involve a series of exercises to further understand your capabilities across key skills. Over the course of the day, you’ll meet several members of the team as part of our assessment process, designed to give you a clear understanding of who we are, while allowing us to fairly evaluate your fit for the role based on defined criteria.

Assessment Centre Days will be held w/c 14th & 21st July 2025

  1. Final Round Partner Interview:

Finally, we will arrange a short final round interview with one of our Partners with the aim of understanding more about you as an individual.

Final Round Interviews will be held w/c 18th Aug 2025

  1. Offer & Start

If you are successful after the final round interview, we will make you an offer in early September 2025. The anticipated start date for the role will be 22nd September 2025.  If there are any issues with this start date, please make the hiring team aware of this.
