Chris is a sourcing and procurement specialist with over 13 years’ experience in the private and public sector including healthcare, industry and management consultancy at Accenture.
Chris was Director of Procurement & Supply Chain at Cambridge University Hospitals where he has led a transformation of the Procurement & Supply Chain function and delivered over £10m in savings over 3 years.
Prior to this Chris was a Senior Manager at Accenture in the Operations practice where he worked with clients across financial Services, resources, communications, high tech and product sectors to deliver value in all areas of procurement and supply chain.
Before joining Accenture, Chris spent 6 years at Land Rover and Ford Motor Company after qualifying as a Design and Manufacturing Engineer with BMW Group. Chris is a member of CIPS and has completed an MBA at Warwick Business School.
Debora is an experienced senior Data Scientist who has worked with a range of private and public sector healthcare clients, across numerous clinical areas including A&E, Endoscopy and District Nursing.
Since joining Akeso, Debora has delivered multiple automated tools, produced various dashboards using business intelligence software, analysed big data, and designed advanced models to support service planning and transformation.
Debora has a PhD in Medical Physics from UCL and a background in Biomedical Engineering and Biophysics.
Jake is an experienced manager who has worked with Akeso for over 5 years. In that time, he has accrued significant experience in the healthcare supply chain and operations space working with numerous clients across multiple disciplines of projects.
Jake has comfortably led long-term engagements with senior project teams within both the public and private sector, working closely to ensure successful project deliveries with multiple workstreams delivering significant value for his clients.
Prior to joining Akeso, Jake worked for a prestigious Investment Banking firm where he developed strong project operations and risk management skills.
Eleanor is an experienced and passionate Healthcare Consultant with broad industry experience in pathology, pharmacy and aseptic services, clinical and clinical support services, and community diagnostic services.
She has previously worked in pharmacy for over 8 years, gaining broad exposure to primary and secondary care, in both the private and public sector. Additionally, she has worked in research, project management and delivery of a £0.5m public health pilot initiative for older adults in the community whilst undertaking her degree.
Eleanor achieved a 1st Class Hons BSc Human Physiology from the University of Leeds.
Maddie is an experienced consultant, specialising in relationship management, supply chain procurement, workforce optimisation and operational strategy.
Maddie’s worked with key client stakeholders, with a specialised focus on service and product procurement, high value contract management and negotiation, and supply chain and commercial strategy within the Public Health sector.
Prior to joining Akeso, she worked at a global online luxury retailer, gaining strong experience in developing opportunities for product optimisation, managing global suppliers and implementing seasonal strategy to expand business reach.
Maddie received a BA (Hons) in History from Newcastle University.
Scott is an experienced consultant who has primarily worked within the life sciences and healthcare sectors, focusing on operational performance transformations, supply chain and manufacturing strategy, and commercial analysis.
He previously worked in the US for a global freight forwarder and spent 5 years with Accenture’s supply chain practice.
His project experience covers global manufacturing and supply chain strategy, operating model transformations and strategic sourcing.
Olivia is an experienced consultant in the private and public healthcare sector specialised in delivering tangible benefits to supply chain operations and strategic sourcing. Prior to joining Akeso, Olivia worked in the FMCG sector developing innovative products for global and market-leading healthcare brands.
Peter has over 14 years’ experience of private and public sector healthcare.
He worked for 11 years at EY’s health and social care consulting practice and is now Associate Director at Akeso, leading on the Discharge to Assess and Population Health offerings.
Peter has experience and expertise in operations improvement, whole system redesign, cost improvement, performance improvement and programme delivery.
Peter is currently supporting a large Welsh Health Board on virtual ward implementation. He has led system health infrastructure projects for East Kent, North-West London and Cornwall, and has supported NHSE/I on the evaluation of supported self-management and behavioural interventions.
Martin has extensive healthcare and life sciences experience spanning 14 years in management consulting, foreign direct investment and private equity.
At Akeso, Martin is focused on building and expanding the company’s market access, strategy and private equity service offerings, as well as building a pipeline of foreign medical technology and life sciences market entry opportunities.
Martin held Manager and Senior Manager roles at PA Consulting and EY respectively, where he worked on several life sciences strategy, business growth and market entry projects across private and public sectors. At EY, he led the healthcare and life sciences FDI team, which focused on advising, attracting and growing disruptive life sciences organisations in the UK market.
Prior to his consulting career, Martin spent time with the private equity firm Hamilton Bradshaw, where he worked on the acquisition of a healthcare professional services firm, conducted commercial due diligence and supported different portfolio value creation strategies.
Yana is passionate about helping healthcare organisations to plan and implement processes improvements through digitalisation, supported by data insights and Business Case writing.
At Akeso, she has led on the development of a Business Case for implementation of an inventory management system at one of the leading London Trusts. Additionally, Yana provided project management support across an IT Remediation Programme consisting of 12 projects.
Prior to joining Akeso, Yana received a BA in Experimental Psychology from University of Oxford and worked within the financial advisory sector for 1 year.
Shivam is a junior consultant at Akeso, with experience in Inventory Management Systems, public procurement processes, project management, and stakeholder engagement. Shivam has a clinical background and is a qualified pharmacist.
Shivam has supported on several projects during his time at Akeso including programme design & mobilisation for national roll-out of Trust Inventory Management Systems, regional procurement support for a diagnostic service & equipment provider, and project management for large-scale workforce transfers.
Prior to Akeso, Shivam has experience in community pharmacy service improvement & transformation and service coordination through PCN involvement.
