As part of our ongoing expansion, earlier this year, we welcomed two new industry-leading Managing Partners, to the Akeso leadership team to drive the success of the business. Andrew Paterson has joined us as a Managing Partner, while Sarah Pinto-Duschinsky has joined us as Managing Partner to lead our Strategy and Operating Model practice. Andrew Paterson and Sarah Pinto-Duschinsky join Akeso’s co-founders and Managing Partners, Scott Healy and Chris Robinson, creating a leadership team with remarkable expertise and vision.
Our Leadership Profiles
/ Andrew Paterson, Managing Partner – Andrew is a highly skilled leader in Healthcare consulting with over 15 years of experience delivering complex and strategically significant projects at the provider, regional and national levels across the sector. Andrew’s primary focus has been supporting NHS clients to transform their operating model, delivering financial, clinical, and operational efficiencies. He has led a number of acute Trusts to develop sustainable financial recovery programmes, as well as a series of operating model redesigns for arm’s length bodies of the Department of Health and Social Care.
/ Chris Robson, Managing Partner – Chris has over 25 years of experience in private and public sector across the U.K. and Europe. Since co-founding Akeso, Chris has led the development and implementation of growth strategies in public and private Health sector, serving over 50 leading Health providers including the NHSSC Category Tower for Diagnostics, Pathology & Therapies Technologies and Services. Chris was Director of Operations Improvement at Cambridge University Hospitals and a Senior Manager with Accenture in the Operations Excellence practice. Prior to this Chris spent 10 years in Automotive sector where he trained as Manufacturing Engineer.
/ Scott Healy, Managing Partner – Scott has dedicated his career to performance improvement in healthcare and life sciences working both within a multinational consulting firm, and for the last decade as a co-founder of Akeso. He has led the development of Akeso as an established boutique consultancy committed to improvement in UK health. His project specialisms and areas of interest are performance improvement, the Healthcare supply chain and the use of data to drive tangible and actionable improvement insights. His approach is flexible and fact based, and he is proud to have delivered numerous collaborative/ICS projects engaging positively across multiple stakeholders, specialisms and styles to achieve outcomes around aligned goals.
/ Sarah Pinto-Duschinsky , Managing Partner – Sarah has an exceptional track record of driving complex, large-scale transformational change having held previous leadership roles spanning two decades in the NHS, including as a CEO and national Director of Operations & Delivery at NHSE, and most recently leading the health and life sciences consulting practice at a Big 4 firm, where she was the UK Consulting Leader for Health and Life Sciences and overall UK Health Leader. Sarah’s extensive strategy and service reconfiguration experience enables her to support senior leaders across the sector to implement changes that benefit patients, staff and citizens.
