Healthcare Consultants

We are looking for passionate, proactive, and hard-working individuals to join the expansion of our high-calibre team of Management Consultants in health and care at Senior Consultant grades and above.

The roles will cover cost and performance improvement, healthcare service transformation and complex programme delivery.

About this Opportunity

The responsibilities of our consultants, dependent on grade, will largely involve:

  • Operating successfully as part of a dedicated and collegiate team to support our clients in achieving tangible outcomes
  • Successful delivery of healthcare consulting projects in line with client and business objectives by facilitating collaboration within the project team, managing resources across one or more project simultaneously.
  • Development of innovative and customised solutions for clients and provide strategic recommendations with actionable insights based on thorough analysis and industry expertise.
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, communicating updates and results effective through presentations and reports by providing guidance on industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices.
  • Originating and leading development of internal initiatives supporting the successful continuous improvement of a growing consulting practice.
  • Actively seeking out opportunities for future projects through existing and new client relationships, project work or internal business development as well as networking opportunities while leading the development of the sale with support from senior leadership from lead through to award.
  • Demonstrating a high degree of self-awareness and interest in professional development of self and others by staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in healthcare, participating in professional development activities and sharing knowledge and best practices with colleagues to contribute to the professional growth of junior members of the team.

 

About You

The ideal candidate will:

  • Share and demonstrate in the day-to-day work our core values of Accountability, Collaboration and Integrity
  • Be a self-motivated individual with a proactive and intuitive nature toward delivering high-quality work in a fast paced environment
  • Be personable and engaging with a desire continuous improve the ways of working
  • Be interested in coaching more junior members of the team, and in playing an active role in keeping the team motivated and engaged
  • Be willing to support across a range of project types, commercial models and business needed and work where necessary develop a round skillset
  • Be willing to travel to client site, where necessary (predominantly UK-based though some international travel is occasionally required)

 

Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from a highly regarded University
  • Appropriate number of years of experience in healthcare consulting for the particular grade for a top-tier consulting practice
  • Experience across a range of projects with a focus on performance improvement and/or transformational program
  • In-depth knowledge of the UK Healthcare system and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent project management abilities, including experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven track record of driving successful healthcare transformation initiatives and measurable results
